Business Hours: Mon-Wed: 7:00 am - 8:00 pm Thurs-Fri: 7:30 am - 9:00 pm Sat: 8:00 am - 9:00 pm; Sun: closed ************************************************************** Important Announcement Dear Customers, We regret to inform you that Organigaya Cafe will be closing it's doors at 2pm Saturday October 8th. The simple answer is that we just weren't doing enough business. We are deeply grateful to those of you that showed us support and repeated your business time after time, we just needed more of you. We still believe that the Cafe could be successful, we just do not have the means to continue absorbing losses, month after month. We received several offers of loans to help us continue, but without the business to justify it, we couldn't, in good conscience, accept loans that we did not know if we could pay back. We're going to try and hang in here a little longer while we put the business up for sale. We'll be offering the space as a commercial kitchen and leasing time to other businesses while we look for a buyer. We're asking $80,000 for the complete business and all it's assets and in the meantime leasing space for $165/day. We're available for catering, but will not be open for retail business. We'll notify you again by email, should we re-materialize some time in the future, but we will not be selling our customer lists to anyone. If you get an email from us, it's because we are back in business. Paul will be focusing on a development project in North Plainfield and we'll let you know where Chef Steve ends up. We'll send out a followup email in a few weeks to let you know what's going on. We'll be open tomorrow as long as we have something to sell, we have not restocked and we're just running down our inventory now. We're very sorry we weren't able to make this work for you guys, but it wasn't for lack of trying. If one of you thinks you have what it takes to keep this place going, talk to Paul and we'll work with you. We want nothing more than to make sure that North Plainfield has an organic restaurant. Paul would even volunteer a month of his time for a new owner who wanted to keep it going and we could work out very favorable terms. You couldn't take an empty space and do what we did for less money than what we're asking, so this is a great opportunity for the right person. Thanks again for all your support, you are the greatest customers in the world, we only wish there were more of you.
